WRTC dismantles and recycles industrial and commercial buildings. Salvaging timber which would otherwise be discarded supports sustainability and environmental responsibility, but it requires a skilled crew to dismantle the structures and clean the timbers according to safe work procedures. We specialize in deconstruction and salvage of commercial and industrial warehouses, mills and other large buildings. We can take the building apart down to the concrete. With 25 years of experience, we carry out all our work to the highest possible standards. We have been involved with demolition and salvage on many different job sites, including sites at UBC and Vancouver, and mill and other industrial sites throughout British Columbia.
We place high priority on safety in everything we do. We carry liability insurance coverage and we have an excellent safety record. We are in good standing with the Workers Compensation Board of British Columbia. We strive to maintain a work environment in which the safety of our workers and visitors is paramount. |

After one of the first projects for which we supplied wood to Kindred Construction , they wrote... "The "deconstruction" contractor that is providing me and ***** with all our recycled timbers for Whistler ... is also a better-than-real demolition contractor. You should call him for your next project. In a world that seems to support flakey come-and-go demo contractors, Bruce MacDonald is a refreshing change. He has a "serious" company, long and well established, that does all kinds of light and heavy and industrial demolition work. They are professional, bonded, insured, WCB'd, etc., etc."
